Radar makes podcasts searchable - and usable by AI agents

Podcast search engine launches

The startup Particle launched Radar, a search engine that transcribes and indexes podcasts. The tool transcribes over 130,000 podcasts. It adds 20,000 episodes to its index daily. The service includes speaker labels, metadata, and mentions of entities like companies and products. Users can receive alerts for these mentions through email and Slack.

Particle co-founder and CEO Sara Beykpour stated that hedge funds are the highest-volume customers for the tool. She noted that AI agents cannot read audio unless someone transcribes it. Radar sells its data to AI search platforms, including Exa, and data resellers. The service costs $29 a month per seat, or $399 a month for a 20-seat business plan. The company plans to add YouTube videos and news clips in the future.
