Gemini automating multi-step tasks like ordering an Uber sounds genuinely useful. Finally, AI moving beyond fancy text generation to tackling our actual to-do lists on Android. Scam detection and Circle to Search improvements are smart additions too, making our phones genuinely smarter and safer. But, and there’s always a "but" with early tech, the limited rollout is classic Google. Beta access, specific high-end devices like the Pixel 10 and Galaxy S26 series, and only in the U.S. and Korea? It’s a frustrating tease for most of us. The potential is huge, but it feels like the masses will be waiting a while to truly offload tasks to their AI assistant.
