Self-driving trucks are officially testing on California highways

By Pradhyuman,

I already grip the steering wheel with white knuckles whenever I pass a normal semi on the highway, so sharing the road with an 80,000-pound robot is my literal nightmare. Yet, California just greenlit driverless truck testing. While tech companies celebrate and unions sue, we are stuck acting as guinea pigs. I get the logistics appeal, but putting massive autonomous rigs on public roads before we even trust robotaxis feels like a recipe for disaster. We are not ready for this.
